What to Expect on Staging Day
In order to prepare for your upcoming staging, there are a few things you should know about the staging installation and the process leading up to it.
-Access: We will contact you no less than 24 hours prior to your staging to confirm access to the property. If we arrive at the property and are unable to access for any reason, you may be assessed a lockout fee.
-Package Specifications: Due to the dynamic nature of staging, our inventory changes on a daily basis. Therefore, we are unable to provide a preview of specific pieces of furniture that will be used for your staging. However, if you have a certain vision in mind for the property, please communicate that with your sales agent and we will do our best to accommodate.
-Staging Day: We stage several properties every day and we aim to do our very best on every home. Our staging staff typically arrives between 10-11am. If we plan to arrive earlier or later, we will let you know during your confirmation call. We highly recommend that you permit our stagers 4-5 hours of uninterrupted design time to complete your installation. Please keep in mind that staging is a creative and interative design process. We kindly ask that you do not interrupt the designers as they work. If at the completion of the staging, you would like to make changes, please contact your sales agent and we will do our best to accommodate as soon as possible.
-Deadlines/ Limitations: During your confirmation call we will ask about any deadlines or limitations we should be aware of. These include but are not limited to:
Renovation/construction/ home cleaning occurring at the same time as the staging
No heat/ air or power on the property
Presence of pets during staging
Photography/ open house/ showings scheduled
Failure to mention these limitations, could result in missing critical deadlines.
