Inventory, Warehouse, Fleet Manager

Parker Staging is seeking an Inventory, Warehouse and Fleet Manager.  The objective of the Inventory, Warehouse and Fleet Manager position is to develop, implement and maintain systems related to inventory, warehouse and vehicle management.  This is a management position that will be responsible for recruiting and managing contract daily. This is a full-time position that will report to one of Parker Staging’s facilities daily.


Inventory, Warehouse and Fleet Manager Duties & Responsibilities:


The Inventory, Warehouse and Fleet Manager Fleet managers will be in charge of all facets of transportation for Parker Staging, including:


  •     Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures

  •     Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

  •     Recordkeeping.

  •     Manage other movers, contractors and 

  •     Schedule, route, maintain, and track trucks and cargo vans.

  •     Negotiate with suppliers.

  •     Resolve disputes.

  •     Analyze the effectiveness of operations.

  •     Implement and enforce transportation scheduling and policy changes.

  • Maintain order of warehouse by restocking furniture and decor and cleaning, daily.

  • Inspecting, wrapping and protecting furniture

  • Ensure timely, accurate and organized preparation and loading of trucks

  • Create, manage and implement inventory management and tracking systems

  • Repair furniture and identify vendors for ordering parts.

  • Ensure safety of all furniture spent to staged homes

  • Manage the disposition of furniture and the furniture cycling process from purchase and assembly to sell and donation.


The Inventory, Warehouse and Fleet Manager will also maintain and enhance excellent customer relations through on-time, safety-conscious, budget-friendly transportation of furniture. The Inventory, Warehouse and Manager will also be accountable for staying abreast of federal, state, and local regulations; registering and licensing vehicles and keeping inspections up to date. They will develop procedures to maximize productivity, cut expenses, and minimize packing and delivery errors.  This role will also be accountable for meeting organizational and budgeting priorities.


Position Requirements:

Fleet, warehouse and/or inventory maintenance experience, self- motivated, able to work well with a team and individually, organized, detail-oriented, data entry experience preferred, dependable, promptness, and communication skills, valid driver’s license.Must be in good physical condition and able to stand, climb, balance, and/or lift objects weighing up to 100lbs.
